Last Updated 03-10-2009 Do you have a Family Member in the Armed Forces? No matter if you have a Son, Daughter, Mom, Dad, Grandchild, Neice or Nephew in the military we want to know. Let us know where they are deployed and their Name & rank. We will be setting up a special page on this Web Site to honor them for the special people they are. We must support these Fine soldiers as much as possible to help them in these tough times. Some of our members have voiced ideas about maybe trying to send these troops stuff they need in the field as well as in their bellies (lol). Some of the ideas were fund raisers and food drives but any endevor requires the participation of our membership. So won't you all help? We are looking for members for the Web Page/Newsletter committee. We can use people that like to write and/or take pictures or just have some ideas. If interested contact me at admin@uawlocal86.org or talk with a committee person. UAW Local 86 Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd
Tuesday of every month. Various subjects are covered such as Financials,Call
Letters and Events. Even though most of the information from the
meetings will eventually show up on this Web Site everyone is encouraged
to attend and participate. Our union is only as strong as the people
in it and if we band together we will inevitably send out a strong message
to all on how strong we really are. By participating you help to guide
the direction our local is going. The next Local meeting is Tuesday
March 17th at 12:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. Hope to see you there. What
