Dear UAW Local 86
I am in receipt of your check for $2,000. We would like to thank you
for your support for Homes for Our Troops.
Your donation will help build the handicap accessible home for Marine
quadriplegic Joshua Hoffman. It is the hope of the building crew to
finish his house so he and his fiancée can move in by Christmas
time.
This Marine who has given so much who will be able to realize this dream
due to the generosity of people such as the UAW.
Again, thank you for helping us help those who gave so much.
Sincerely,
Dan Higgins - Homes For Our Troops Volunteer Fundraiser Leader in Michigan

A mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die in Iraq ?"
A mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die in Saudi Arabia ?"
A mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die in Kuwait ?"
Another mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die in Vietnam ?"
Another mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die in Korea ?"
Another mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die on Iwo Jima ?"
Another mother asked the President ...
"Why did my son have to die on a battlefield in France ?"
Yet another mother asked the President
...
"Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg ?"
And yet another mother asked the President
...
"Why did my son have to die on a frozen field near Valley Forge
?"
Then long, long ago, a mother asked...
"Heavenly Father...
Why did my Son have to die on a Cross outside of Jerusalem ?"
The answer is the same ...
"So that others may have life and dwell
in peace, happiness, and freedom."
The magnitude and the simplicity are
awesome!
IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO STAND BEHIND
OUR TROOPS, PLEASE, PLEASE, FEEL FREE
TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM !!!
